Not because the ideas aren’t valuable. Not because people aren’t curious. But because the format — silent, linear, solitary — hasn’t changed in five hundred years. Meanwhile, the way we actually learn and remember has always been the same: through conversation.
We believe every book deserves a voice. And every reader deserves a conversation.

When I was eleven, Steve Jobs died. I just remember thinking: I wish I could ask him one more question.
That thought never went away. Fourteen years later, I decided to do something about it.
We’re PantheonAI, the Knowledge Company of California.
Our belief is simple: the best ideas ever recorded are trapped. They sit in books and recordings, frozen, unable to respond to you. We think that’s a waste.
So we asked ourselves: what happens if a book talks back?
Not the way an audiobook “talks” to you. An audiobook reads the same script to every person, every time. What we built is different.
Talking Books.
A Talking Book takes everything an author ever wrote, said, or taught. It reconstructs how they think. It clones their actual voice. And then it lets you have a live conversation with them.
You can ask Steve Jobs about product taste. Debate Marcus Aurelius on discipline. Have Einstein explain relativity to you, personally, at whatever level you need.
It’s not a chatbot wearing a costume. It’s a mind built from real knowledge, speaking in a real voice, responding to you in real time.
Somewhere along the way, we made sand think. That’s all a chip really is — a grain of sand we taught to reason. And now that thinking sand can hold the mind of an author who died centuries ago, and talk to you about your life.
People found us on their own. We didn’t run ads or optimize funnels. They just kept sharing it.
